Clinical Psychologist
Kerry Ashby is a fully endorsed Clinical Psychologist. She holds a BA (First Degree Honours in Psychology) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Murdoch University. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and holds a fellow membership with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (FCCP).
Kerry has previously held the position of Clinical Psychologist with the Department of Health and has worked in various community and private mental health settings. As a highly experienced clinical psychologist, she has outstanding knowledge and advanced training in dealing with your mental health issues.
Kerry consults with adult clients experiencing a range of personal and interpersonal difficulties including depression and anxiety, trauma and post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, adjustment issues, relationship problems, phobias, other mood disorders, addiction, and anger management issues.
Kerry uses evidence-based psychological therapy and is trained in a range of psychotherapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
